Hello from Canada
Just wanted to introduce myself.
Names Bill.
I have an 89 Camaro that I've owned since 94. Currently I'm dropping in a 305 TPI with an LT1 and some head work. I'm restoring the interior and have $2,600 in NOS parts waiting to go in. Should be back on the road in the spring. I have 127km (or 80,000mi) on her.
The interior

Nice car Bill.
I like your car. 1989 huh... Did you add the newer ground effects? Does it have a 305 and you are going to an LT1? Looks like a firebird shifter... j/w
Here is mine. 89 IROC with 350. Read about it in "Good Camaro Story" if you like, its slightly entertaining. Going back to the original steering wheel. Not a fan of the GT.

Yes, I added the 92 gfx all the way around. The paint colour is from an 86 Grans Sport Corvette.
The 305 TPI is getting an LT1 cam and some head work to go with the headers and flowmaster. I got a smokin' deal on the motor that I couldn't pass it up. Saving $$ for either an LT4 or LS motor next.
Shifter is actully from an 89 Z24 Not a big fan on the original shifter and wanted something different.

Let me guess, you had the round 8-ball shifter? I think only the 350's got the squared off shifter like I have. I think I read that somewhere... The color is very nice, looks very similar to the factory bright blue like I have. I never would have guessed it was different. It seems we have very similar cars, no t-tops or stripes...
Enjoy...
