Blues for the Camaro

Please take the time to visit the thread about the exterior of the 2010 Camaro. Many of us have been hoping for a bright blue, but instead got dark blue which is nice, and that awful blue aqua metallic. We have a poll going along with over 450 views. Currently the votes for a bright blue are 75%, and the existing blues 25%. Please help us get our Jetstream, Lemans, Nassau, etc blue. Scott, Cheryl, please take a moment to look at the post. You can see that if Jetstream or a similar color was offered that you would sell 300% more blue cars than the aqua blue metallics. We all want this car to survive, and with a goal of 100,000+ cars to keep the assembly lines rolling this car needs to be as perfect as possible. Please at least make jetstream blue an option as on the vette. Even if it is $1000 more like on the vette, that would be 3 times the amount of existing blue car sales at an additional 1K a pop for GM's pocket. Please help the Camaro faithful get the car we want!!!

If we don't get Hugger Orange, then you don't get Bright Blue. Make a second choice, I am.

NO! lol theres no other colors i want. my 79 is lighter metallic blue and i wanted the same depth color on my 10. the problem with the color lineup is there arent many good colors, they are mostly your run of the mill red, white, silver, black etc. they nailed the orange and yellow but those are small volume colors. i want some other nice colors that are off the beating path of bland and normal and i really thought they would nail the blues in that department with deep metallic bright colors. but to me the 2 blues chosen are probably the worst choices you could make, and im not the only one that thinks this. seen the mustang blue? brilliant, corvette? brilliant also. any blue dodge makes....ditto. then you got a handful of these dull confused lifeless colors that gm decided to put on the camaro. blue is a popular color and even if there was a premium id pay it for a better blue. im not the only one that feels this way also, many people do!

here's the blue on my 79

Don't forget Glacier Blue. That (or something similar) is what I want.

I heard the same thing that Aqua Blue Metallic looked like Jetstream blue, so I drove to my local chevy dealer to take a look, and boy whoever said it was similar to jetstream was full of sh*t!!! It looks even worse in person than on the website. It looks like a cheap premix paint that somebody picked up for $50 a gallon at the local body store to throw a quick paintjob on their rust bucket celebrity. It honestly might be one of the ugliest color you've ever seen. I honestly encourage everyone to go look at a colorado in this color. It almost makes me sick just thinkin of a car as good looking as the Camaro being draped in a color that Stevie Wonder must have created.

I completely dig the aqua metallic. That would be my choice.

No thanks. I was pissed off enough when they cancelled LeMans Blue for the C6. Every car needs a dark blue.

Blue? Are we driving a minivan now?
Sports cars come in 4 Colors: Red, Black, Yellow, Orange
Everything else is extra and a gift.
Remind yourself that the color pallet you see there is not going to be the EXACTLY color, it will be close to what ends up as final product.
Aqua Blue looks to be Jetstream
The Imperial Blue Metalic is an NBM replacement
Inferno Orange Metalic is SOM's replacement

Haha, good observation. But, I do think right after those colors definetly comes a bright/medium blue like Quasar Metallic, in fact I'd place that right after red and black since I find yellow and orange to just be ridiculously over the top.
