My plans for the hood ''mail slot''

Seeing that the mail slot is going to be non-functional, it looks like it might be a pretty good place to stick some small neon tubes. I have two small red ones in the ram air "nostrils" on my WS.6, but will probably switch it over to a different color on the Camaro because I'm totally tired of hearing "is your car supposed to be KITT from Knight Rider?"

It's all going to depend on how it's constructed and whether or not I can hide the tubes...

check the dates...mine was posted first...

It's ok, Brad, you can call it rice all you want but I've gotten tons of compliments on my WS.6. If done in moderation, neon looks good. They are the only two tubes I have on the outside of the car...

believe it or not, I've had the exact same idea ever since I saw the slot on the SS. I plan to stay away from the red though, as I want to avoid the KITT references. Dont get me wrong, I love the old and new knight riders.

Blue glow all the way.

EDIT: I may go for purple since Blue is not legal in most states.

if you run the same amb interior color throughout the car (including the mail slot), i think that could be pretty classy (blue/orange) ... i'd have to see it though
