Merry Christmas to ME!
YEAH!
I got to the Dyno today boys...I may have the Highest HP stock short block LT1 on the team
All numbers are SAE corrected. 392.72 RWHP and 421.89 RWTQ.
This is up from the 348.76 RWHP and 407.17 RWTQ I had before the heads were ported. This is DAMN close HP wise to the 50HP shot run I had before at 401.93 RWHP, Save for the 466.87 RWTQ.
When I got the heads back from being fixed and re-ported the numbers seemed unreal with 280cfm at .600 lift and 288 at .700. Over all they show a 224CFM average in the 0-.600 lift area that my cam runs in. Theses are the Highest 'Verified' numbers I have EVER seen on LT1 heads!
It also looks like I may have FINALLY hit the HP peak...it sits at 6,800, loosing 1hp at 6,900. this is better then before as the motor would not peak at all.....even at the 6,900 red line.
Over all I can not explain how happy I am! 392RWHP out of a heads and cam Bolt on LT1 with an AUTOMATIC and a 12 bolt! Imagine with out a 12 bolt I would have hit 400 RWHP!
happy happy Joy Joy!
Happy Holidays to ALL!
Ellis
Looking to be Fastest Daily driven LT1 in the NW

thanks guys!
To put it in prospective for some. Had I been running a 10 bolt,Six Speed and a set of 16s(all proven High dyno number makers) The car would have put out over 410 at the wheels
E-mail me on the heads Two porters were involved to get here

Cam is GM #847 234/242 .575/.565 112Ls. Actually drives real nice.
I bet about now Shaun is thinking about his head porting decision

Props to Dave Endrigo!!!!!
HEHEHE nice Ellis! Now lets see how long your tranny holds out!!!!
Guys just a quick word for Dave Endrigo. I run his heads, Ryan Karasak runs his heads, SID runs his heads and now Ellis has benefitted from Daves work and magical valve combo that some on the boards say are *fuct*!!! If you want some power and performance talk to Dave!!!
Ellis you made three pulls before ya got 392 HP reading. What were your first two and did ya tweak the tuning?
Was the final reading with the cut out open and are you running a 58 mm TB?
Anyhow nice numbers I definately have some competition now!!!
Ken

Yes SID you do. Your heads were last ported by Dave. I have told you a dozen times. Hell I told you when I sold them to you! you just do not have enough cubic inches to use what you have. jims highest dyno numbers came out of those heads. If you are ready to get ridd of them Jim would buy them back
No that was the one and only full pull Ken. The other two have massive tire spin. This was with out ANY tuning. I have the exact same tune in the car now I did when I did the before dyno tune. That is a 44 RWHP gain from Heads alone. AND on top of it I am running a automatic AND a 12bolt!!

Ken For some reason the guys up there do not like Dave because he does not have a name like MTI,GTP or ARE. I figure hell if they want to pay twice the price for half the work have at it.
A six speed car with a 12 bolt(like SIDs) will need to make 411.35 RWHP to match the numbers I made.
I a pretty happy about it that is for sure!
Next is New TQ arm(mine is bent) some LCARs and a Full set of Hoosiers. Along the way I have to install new window tracks and motors too
