Are These The Final Headlights
I like them, don't get me wrong but I do like the headlights on the concept better. Much more traditional. Any idea if this is final, also seeing the new vert's headlights makes me thing, this thing is still up in the air, would they really make the headlights different on both cars?

no "official" word yet...the car is still "pre-production"...but hopefully that's them.

While I don't say the following makes it 100% official, I'd be real surprised if it wasn't the same as "official word":
"from the desk of John Fitzpatrick, Fbodfather v2.0
Good Saturday morning:
Some of you may have already found our Friday the 13th surprise; however, if you have not, you may want to check out the new Chevy.com/Camaro website to view the latest Camaro model underdevelopment.
Remember, this is a development car, and not the final production car. With that said, how about those headlamps?!?!?
Have a great weekend.

I think John's comments have been posted several places on the net, I think some of the disciples have also confirmed these headlights, so I'd take all of that together to be as official as we'll get until the actual release of complete production models.

I think there may be some confusion as to exactly what headlights the OP was referring to. The ones in the "not the real headlights" smiley are....not the real headlights. The ones in the new convertible pictures are...probably the real headlights.

I'm fully aware of which are which, I guess I made the assumption that the OP was referring to the latest pics of the vert which indeed show what seem to be the "real headlights". So perhaps I'll just stop posting replies to any confusion regardless of it being headlights, engines, etc. and let everybody work it out for themselves. I'm not confused on any of it as I follow enough threads on enough forums to have a pretty good understanding of what we think is going to be offered. So lets just all enjoy the posts and glean what info we can until the actual release, that's what I plan on doing from here on out.

Clyde...sorry if you thought that was directed at you, it was more of a general observation. I made the assumption that he was referring to the test mule lights and hadn't seen the new ones. After re-reading the post...guess I just missed it. Makes more sense now.

Okay my turn to say sorry. I wrote my original post in haste. It might have been a bit confusing to understand.
The test mule that we keep seeing has those double sets of headlights that I personally do not like as much, the new pictures of the 'vert has more traditional headlights, which I do like on this car much more.
I understand the car is still in preproduction but which one does it look like it will turn out being, the single big lights like on the 'vert or the smaller double set of lights?
From what I gather from the replies in this thread the test mule's double set are not the real headlights, correct?

That's what I understand. At this stage I would expect the vert's look to be pretty much what we'll get.

I like them too. I'm happy about this. This was the ONLY thing I was thinking about regarding this car.
