Probably

I'll be there, but my Camaro probably won't this year, though. It almost always rains in OC,Md. I also go to Wildwood Nj. Not as many cars, but it almost never rains, and much easier to navigate the streets (more than one street). You and your friends should check it out.
3 hrs from Baltimore. Look up thundermoto.com
Spring show has no model year limit, and there they PARK the cars on the boards fri and sat. Always Mothers day wknd in the spring.

I hear ya. That's a problem in OC, too. I guess the good thing in OC is they can't shut down the only hwy there! Wildwood has many streets, so they have the option to shut one down, their way of dispersing the crowds. I'd just like to see a bigger number arrive there to get it like it was 5 yrs ago. One area nobody seemed to cruise much was WW Crest, which is the southerb part of the island. The cops focus on the center of the city for the most part. I continue to go to this show because it is a very "50's town", the cars parked on the boards are a cool way to look at them, and it's another excuse to go to the beach.
But yes, I'll be in OC.

That sounds like a story that needs to be told.

The police at these shows need some sort of guideline to make it fair. They need to realize these shows are all about hotrods. I've seen them give frivolous tickets like you've described, while other times a diff cop let someone get away with a "mild burnout".
Do any of you recall a copper '70 GTO with a blower on top of a blower in OC ? The cops told him if he left Hooter's lot they'd ARREST HIM !!!!!!!
