Thumbs up If it won't be in Forza 2, it will DEFINITELY be in Grid!

I know Chris and I have talked about it once or twice in the CamaroZ28.Com Podcast, but I think it was only brought up here briefly...

The new Camaro will definitely be in Grid, an upcoming game by the makers of Dirt for the XBox 360. Dirt got some great reviews, too. Here's some cool info...

It is hard to tell at this point, but we were speculating that it will be more of a racing arcade game than a simulation like what Forza is. I think this is cool. I love Forza, but sometimes I just want good ol' arcade racing. We'll see how it turns out later this June.

You reading this, Turn10? Get a 5th gen in Forza!

As long as the 5th Gen makes it to Gran Turismo 5 then I'll be happy.
The Grid should be fun too. Someone on here posted some pics a while back of a white Camaro with blue stripes from the game.

Ditto. And GT5 had better have some more realistic engine noises, because the "vacuum cleaner having sex with a garbage disposal" noises in GT3 and GT4 are horrible.

Turn10 is most likely not reading this... they are probably a bunch of Import lovers... of course nothing wrong if that's what you are into. lol.

Man, I couldn't agree more. A 69 Camaro DOES NOT sound like an 81 Honda, HOW DARE YOU!

That was the one thing I hated the most about an otherwise great game!

The sad thing is, they got real engine/exhaust noises from real cars, and still messed it up. They even went to Jay Leno's garage to get sounds.

Ya know I thought GT1 and GT2 in PS1 had better sounds for the muscle cars. The Mustangs and Vettes had some great sounds but the Camaros sounded like vacuum cleaners. Then all the Domestic cars sounded like crap for the PS2 era.
I've got big hopes for the PS3 and High Def graphics and sound.

GT5 has been delayed for long enough to get some better sounds in the game.

GT5 Prologue comes out mid-April, but no Camaro. This is a prequel to the full GT5 game.

Speaking of GT5, is there some place where we can voice our input for better sounding domestics to the makers of Gran Turismo?
