Door handles
Any chance the concept's door handles will make it to production. I could live with the mule's door handles, but I think the concept's handles flow better with the design of the car.

No, I think what you see on the mule is what you will get on the production version.
The concept handles would break, IMO.

The mule pics are the door handles you will see and they will be much easier to work and much more durable.
The Nissan GRT has handles similar to the Concept car. I've gotten to see, sit and play w/ a GTR and the handles are great for a 70k car that will see limited production and street time, but in a DD application the durability would be greatly called into question.

I never got a chance to see that video. Its pretty cool, too bad it couldn't be put on the production version. Even though that version couldn't make the production version, I still wish the mule's door handles were somewhat less intrusive. I guess I'll have to suffer through somehow.

I'm not a fan, but they don't look that bad in the latest pics. I'm sure once the car is in production trim it will be even less noticeable.

I've always despised the "flip up", pot metal, door handles, they can't stand a lot of force and always seem to break on a cold day when your door frosts shut...
(IROC's have long heavy doors too... )
Give me the Pre-prod ones any day.

Speaking of "door handles"...I noticed a few newer "flip up" designs are made of "PLASTIC"!...it actually bent very easily when I pulled the door open...ouch...I hope they're all sold south of the Mason-Dixon line.
