1994 Camaro Z28 M6 Carbed - $3500 OBO

Car is located 1 hour north of Dayton Ohio, in New Bremen ( zip = 45869)

I have a 94 z28 with the m6 trans, as the title reads. It has been converted to a carb, but it is still the LT1. The body has 137000 miles but the motor has less than 1000. I believe its closer to 500 (I reset the trip odometer when I put the motor in so I can have the exact number if anyone needs it).

The motor has the following done to it:

Intake: GMPP carb convert
Distributor: MSD pro billet
Ignition: Mallory 685
Carb: Ebay special holley, I believe its a 650 vacuum secondary
Heads: Slightly ported stock castings
Rockers: CompCams pro mags
Pushrods: CompCams
Cam: CompCams cc306
Crank: Stock turned .010 on both main and rod journals
Rods: Forged with full floating pins
Pistons: Forged slightly higher than stock compression (+.5)
Headers: Edelbrock shortys
Balancer: keyed unit with timing marks

The trans is stock, the clutch was new with the motor. The car runs and drives but does need some more tuning. Also the windshield needs replaced as it is cracked. Also, for some reason the tach is not functioning properly. It worked fine with a MSD 6al but does not work right with the Mallory ignition. It moves, but it is obvious that its not at the right rpms.

I think that is really all, the reason I have not completely finished this is that I started a new job and it has been in storage. I recently lost my storage and I don't have the time to finish the car. I feel that 3500 is a pretty good deal as I have that in the motor. Right now the car is not very fast but I feel it has all the right parts to be very fast. Also, all the stock wiring is in place, as is the computer. There is a good possibility to convert this back to fuel injected.

I am pretty interested, but I am in NY would you consider meeting somewhere in between if a deal were made?

I am not really sure. To be honest, I wouldn't want to for 3500. For more I would.

The problem is that you would have to buy it sight unseen unfortunately. I wouldn't be able to drive a few hours for you to look at it.... Unless you were willing to put up a non-refundable deposit.

Sorry to be somewhat harsh, but I think this is fair, Let me know what you think,
Ryan
