Still appears kind of tall , will see. Ill wait for more pics before jumping to conclusions anyone know the height of the concept? Im looking at the guy standing next to the camaro in the camo pic, and compareing it to him it looks about the same height as a 4th gen. But in these pics they all look real tall.

NEWS: Bob Lutz declares "No more camo on the Camaros!"
Filed under: Spy Photos, Coupes, Chevrolet
For the cadre of camera wielding auto spies chasing the 2009 Chevy Camaro, life has just gotten a little bit easier. Mere hours after a new batch of spy showing a camo-covered Camaro hit the interweb, Chevrolet General Manager Ed Peper posted a message to the GM Fastlane Blog declaring that all pre-production Camaros would be stripped of their camouflage from now until production starts. Apparently, Bob Lutz decided that the camo was causing too much interference with cooling and aerodynamic testing and it needed to come off. Since everyone pretty much knows what the Camaro looks like already, it won't make much difference, but here for your edification is the first official pic direct from GM.

Word has come down from Bob Lutz to remove the camo from the pre-production Camaros so further evaluations could be done for aerodynamics and cooling efficiency.

I'm not sure it was pre-planned. It may just have been a response to all of the gloom and doom in the enthusiast community. But I am sure I don't believe the official explanation. This is a really interesting move.

Me Wanty! I actually don't mind the interior that much now. It's lower than the 4th gen, but still appears to have the cockpit feel. Put in a proper manual gear shift, add body colour to the interior door panels and the stack, and get rid of all that testing equipment and I'll be a happy camper.
