U.S. Body Source

USBodySource has a listing for 2008-2010 Z/28 custom hood . Doesn't tell us anything we don't know about the production date, but is it official that it will be Z/28 and not Z28? The pic won't load up at my work, can somebody post it up, I am curious to see what it looks like.

That site does NOT mean ANYTHING of the sort. Some fiberglass hood shop doesn't dictate GM's facts. The incorrect dates didn't throw you off? Hell, I have heard people refer to my 4th gen Camaro SS as an "IROC" and I cannot tell you how many people don't know the difference between a Firebird and a Trans Am.

I looked up a part the other day for a 4th gen and it didn't have a z28 listed...either a v-6 or Iroc-Z

I figured the incorrect dates were just referring to the start of production that GM stated before (4th quarter 2008) and the model year of the car (2010), and just kind of put there as a place holder or something.

I also didn't mean to imply they were dictating anything, just wondering if they knew something we don't. I am going to take that as a "NO" though .

As far as the pic of the hood, did it come up for you? Is it even worth seeing or is a "image coming soon" placeholder?

Correct.

Considering that no one knows exactly what the final production hood dimensions are, there is little chance that it somehow made it to them and no one else noticed.

That is pretty much what I figured, guess I just needed to hear it from somebody else. It shocked me to see it on their page this far in advance. Thanks.
