Im surprized people from the lounge havent jumped in and put the idea out of making a swimsuit screensaver

Notice to all who have downloaded and installed this screen saver!

Version 1.1 of this screen saver was released today (5-10-08) that addresses an interesting issue. Someone said that the "Press F9 to go to CamaroZ28.Com" text at the top of the screen while the program is running actually burned itself into their LCD monitor. It is believed that this situation is very uncommon, but we don't want something cool and free to wreck any monitors so version 1.1 removed the text. You all know how to get to CamaroZ28.Com anyway, you don't need a reminder.

Just to be safe, it is strongly suggested that you uninstall the old version, download and install the latest version. To make sure you have the correct version, go into the screen saver properties and click the "About" tab. It should show that is is v1.1. See the image attached to this post for reference. A revision history is also in the "Read me" portion of the program. Post your questions here if you have them.

Does it show up in the list of installed screensavers? If not, completely uninstall it and reinstall it and see what happens.

I wish I knew what to tell you on what one. If it completes the installation process, it should reside on your system just like any other screen saver program.

Hey

I just downloaded the camaro concept screen saver and my virus protection found that it has a virus in the setup.exe file. I just thought I would bring this to your attention.

Thanks,
Evan.

Very likely to be a false alarm. I create it myself and host the file here myself and thousands of people have downloaded and installed the program, including myself as well. Not to mention, there is no file in it called setup.exe. Did you download it from the link above or from somewhere else? Tell me what virus scanner you use and what virus it said it picked up so I can investigate, thanks.

Hey,
Yeah I used the link above camaroconceptsaver.exe hopefully its just a false alarm, I'm using Avira AntiVir Personal, its shows 'TR/Drop.Emin.A [trojan]'
detected in file 'C:\Documents and Settings\E\Local Settings\Temp\TMP70F.tmp\setup.exe. I hope its nothing I really wanted to use the new screensaver,

I don't see how there could be a virus in it, it never leaves my control. I have tried 3 different "not freeware" antivirus programs and it passes just fine. I would suggest you try a different free anti-virus program like AVG.
