Is the Camaro gonna have that goofy antenae?
I hope they don't ruin the lines of the car with a goofy antenae like they have on the Silverado's. Beautiful trucks with an ugly protrusion sticking funkily out of it's roof. Distracts form the gorgeous lines of the vehicle. At least the Vette gets a hidden one, hopefully GM will hide it on the Camaro since I doubt we will get the option to order without the antenae.

Well, the most recent spy shots have the little 'fin' antennae.
The one on the prototypes is a little too large imo. I don't mind one being on it, but it should be as unobtrusive as possible.

As long as they don't have the metal antenna that sticks up a couple feet at the front/rear of the Camaro, I'm cool w/ it. I'd rather have a hidden antenna in the window, but if not, the fin is all good by me.

It looks like a pilot fish swimming on top of a shark. Get rid of it, hide it, whatever needs to be done. It distracts from the car.

I'd bet it'll be there.

They hid the Corvettes' in the passenger side rear view mirror starting in '06. I would imagine they'd do the same for Camaro, as it is a more "image conscious" car than say, an Impala.

If its body color I'm not sure I'd care one way or the other.

If it's body color, I'm fine with it. If it's black, I'll try one of two things: Paint it body color or just remove it all together if there's a way to cover the hole without using bondo.
Look at Hondas and BMWs. Their satellite and XM antennas are smoothly integrated into the roof line and painted body color.
Me personally I do not care for XM, nav, OnStar, or anything satellite so they could just do away with the whole thing. Most likely I'll be ripping out the stock stereo within a week after I buy it anyway and replacing it with Boston Accoustic speakers and a couple of Alpine and Pioneer amps.

I hope not, it looks awful. Why can't they do something a bit slimmer?
