I really hope they make it an option.

I've been a HUGE fan of the HUD since I test drove a Grand Prix with one about 12 years ago! I don't know how the current ones are different, but if it's on Camaro, I'm getting one - it's an option I refuse to go without if its offered.

I would go for hud only if it is organized in a professional manner, like the HUD in my T-45C. I drove a C5 with a hud and it was cartoonish. The speedometer was exactly in the middle of my field of view.
The speed should be top left, slightly out of view, and RPM slightly top right, with a few other selectable features in the in the bottom corners. It also needs to be bright enough to be seen on a sunny day.

I have driven a Pontiac Grand Prix GT with the hud and is pretty nice, lets you look at info without taking your eyes off the road, would be nice if the new camaro had it.

hopefully it does. hud came out after the camaro was gone but i believe if it were still around when it came out ...it would have had it. it only fits it for a sports car to have it ,like the vette.

I was always against HUD but I got used to it in the 2000 GTP I had, now I like it.

HUD technology was first offered on the 1989 Grand Prix GXP.
