New forum!
I was thinking the other day, that sometimes folks look for a part in the Marketplace forums here and just can't find it so they turn to the old standby...eBay.
So, we created a forum that automatically goes out and grabs some eBay listings with the word "Camaro" in them every couple of hours. It helps with people just browsing around and seeing what is new. It is a sub-forum under the "Parts and Cars FOR SALE & WANTED" forum.
Check it out, just click here!
Check the listings in that forum every once in a while, and maybe find a good deal!

This is a good idea. Another board I am on for my bikes has this and it can be very useful.

Great Idea! I know this is camaro z28, but there seem to be many more LTx owners than anything else. What about a LT1 subforum?

I thought about that but there are a couple of reasons that I don't want to do that.
One is that the nature of ebay listings ending as frequently as they do, and since I will be pruning old threads away to remove the listings that are ended, indexing them in the search engine might be pointless.
The other is that I wouldn't want a bunch of eBay listings to turn up in site search results when people are trying to find tech advice.
I have more tweaking and experimenting to do.

I don't want to break it down further. It is kind of meant to be a snapshot of what is on eBay, but my no means a complete list.

Maybe add "Firebird, Trans Am, LT1, LS1, and LS2" to the search words as well?

I think that would be something to look into, too. At least the Firebird/TransAm/Trans Am would be nice. There are some of us Pontiac owners here, too, you know.

Seems to be working out just fine. In fact, we just added another one (there was an open space so I filled it). It is the "Camaro on Amazon" link right next to the Camaro on eBay link. It points to our Amazon store we have here on the site.
