Houstonians Inside, help looking for stolen car

Hello guys. I'm sad to announce that a buddies bad *** Camaro was stolen. I'll paste a part of his post here.

" I'm wondering that myself. I was up till about 3:30am finishing a paper. My Dad got up at 6:30sam - three hours difference: no car.

I most certainly woulda' heard it fire up if they drove it off. I don't think the car was started anywhere near my house. I believe I would have heard it. I actually live in a fairly nice area of Dickinson. Brand new houses.

Being the 2nd F-body of mine to get stolen in 4 years maybe I'll try something more Tercel-ish next time.

Time to talk with insurance.

Yes, I got photographic proof of the serial numbers on the Fikse's! icon_smile.gif

I still can't believe that right when the cop came by to take down the info I caught someone trying to hack into my box. Today just sux."

"
Thanks for the support guys. I found all my reciepts for the stuff on the car except for the Fikse's (but they were inspected and okay'd when I brough the car to insurance) and the recipt for the Strange 12 bolt is hard to read -- can't even make out a dollar figure. I have NO idea how insurance will handle this. I have about $28,000 in reciepts not including the base price of the car; nor does that include the 12 bolt or the Fikse's.

The big parts I'm missing are:
1. The Car. icon_frown.gif
2. The S-trim supercharger and intercooler (was at 9lbs.)
3. The Strange 12 bolt & 3.73s
4. The Fikse's (FM5) on CompTAs. Front: 17x9.5; Rear: 17x11 (wrapped in $1000 of rubber); I have the serial numbers (!!)
5. Rebuilt 355 w/blower cam (only 10k on it!)

I only got to make one payment on the damned thing! I was actually looking forward to 35 more.

To see details click on "Tree's House" in my sig., then check out the gallery.

Thanks again,

Here's the original thread at HTown Racing

This really pisses me off. I just rode in that car right after Thanksgiving when we races a Mustang....It was a very clean, black 94 Z28 with a blower & Fikse's. If anyone see's anyone selling some parts that you may think came from this car, let me or Tree know. Thanks guys.

Marc

Sorry to hear that. I'll keep an eye out as I frequent quite a few boards. I hope they find the car and everything in it.

Highly unlikely but maybe he'll get lucky man, for a 94, you couldn't really tell, I thought it was at least a 96-97. It was clean, fast & looked good....
