Cleaning "Exhaust Stains"???

My car is Arctic White and the stock tailpipes were flush with the bumper and there is some awful brownish yellow stains there that normal bathing doesnt get rid of... I have 3 1/2 in stainless steel tips now that come out a little further so the "stains" aren't getting any worse. What product can I use to easily clean this?? A dab of bug and tar remover helps remove some of it but it takes ALOT of elbow grease. Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Try a clay bar.

I've found Meguiars Cleaner Wax does a good job. Keeping a good coat of wax there will also make future clean-ups easier.
