Concept to Reality

How close do you guys think the production camaro will look like the concept camaro, exterior wise...

What do you think goes, and stays...

I was hoping that the production camaro resembled the concept.

You seem to be trying to alienate yourself on this forum. Doing some reading was a good suggestion, as there are countless threads on this site stating that the production Camaro will be very close to the concept. And while you are reading all of these threads you will pick up a lot of other info along the way.

There are even some photo shopped pictures of the concept with smaller wheels, bigger mirrors, taller roof, and the other changes for production.
Who was the GM guy that said he had to look at the door handles to tell the concept from the production version? (Which is sad, because I hoped the trick handles would make it.)

I think it was Ed Peper that said he had to look at the concept and production side by side to see the differences.

Man I hope that's true.

Man I hope that's true.

I thought it was Lutz that said it? But just the same, I hope it is true.

It was Bob Lutz, and actually, he said the only way he could tell the difference between the Production and the Concept was the door handles.

Slightly taller, slightly narrower, and slightly longer wheelbase was the last I recall reading.

But still so close to the concept you can't tell unless they are side by side.

From what I read, the production Camaro ~ Concept Camaro in terms of outward appearance.

We all KNOW the interior is going to change though. I'm guessing it will be a mish-mash of other toys in the GM parts bucket as it always has been, but which ones? I'm very curious as to how it will look and feel.

Interior changes, more wheel size options for the 'budget minded' and slightly larger side mirrors (of which we've already seen).

The Mirrors will be different from the concept. as mentioned it will be thinner and slightly taller. Im just hoping they keep the shark gills functional...

Welcome to the site!
