not going to find much, I would do the "ram air" thing, or at least cut the bottom off the stock air boxes

You dont need one. The stock Camaro TPI intake is one of the best setups out there. The best thing you can do it cut out the plastic pieces underneath the air filters to make them fully open.

the "ram air" I mentioned involves ducts that go down from the stock air boxes(with bottoms cut off), down to behind the foglight openings

That is contrary to the results most people have come to after back dyno tests, one with the airbox connected and one without. The stock TPI intake is extremely restrictive. Look at how narrow the tiniest part of the "neck" going from the airbox to the TB is. At WOT the "neck" can also be sucked flat.

Ok, maybe not completely flat but a modified 350 can pinch it a little. If you cut one up you can see that the inner diameter is also not nearly as wide as the outer diameter.

stick a filter on the end of the TB.....the stock box is junk

you WILL pick up by just using the filter on the end, I don't want to hear any crap about hot air either......More air is better than less, and air inlet temps are not going to be as much of a difference for the power you gain by having more air.

Is that the one for Firebirds only due to the battery location on a Camaro? Or wait....was it the Firebird that needed to have the battery relocated?

Battery needed to be relocated for both cars since there are airboxes on both battery trays.
