Exclamation steering rack/spring rate question!

is a steering rack from a 99 WS6 interchangable with the steering rack from a 94 Z28? also is the spring rate different from a 99 WS6 front spring from a 94 Z28 spring rate? i have and extra set of both and am wondering which ones to use with my bilstein shocks because side by side the WS6 spring looks thicker. also the 99 WS6 spring has 99k on it and the 94 Z spring has 88K on it. im using the front sway bar from the WS6 also, if i use this sway bar and the WS6 front springs will i have any handling problems due to the smaller rear sway bar and lower spring rate of a 94 Z? aka oversteer? i need to konw by 11:30 cuz im taking one or the other to get teh shocks put in.

I do not believe there is any difference in the steering.

The 99 WS6 should have 360lb. fronts and 130-180lb. rears.
The standard Z28 would have 292lb. fronts and 114lb. rears.
I would use the WS6 springs with the Bilsteins.

For the sway bars. The WS6 should be 32mm front and 19mm rear. The standard Z28 would be 30mm front and 19mm rear.
If you have the 1LE suspension then it's all the same as the WS6.

Standard bilsteins rates are 159(bump) and 279(rebound) fronts.
And 86(bump) and 174(rebound) rears.
If you have the SLP bilsteins, they are 130(bump) and 397(rebound) front.
Rears are the same a standard.

The WS6 springs should be ~0.5in. taller installed.

awesome thanks for the response, i have the Bilstein HDs and am going to go with the WS6 springs and front sway bar and probably try to pick up a WS6 rear sway bar sometime over the summer. i appreciate the thorough response.
