I want to put 22''s on my camaro. I know you guys don't like it, but im black and I like it. What should I know and how should I go about doing it. And I know it could be done cuz I know plenty of people with them and even 23's.

These are my 20x10.5" Chrome Z06 wheels.
255/35ZR20's in the front
285/30ZR20's in the back.
Front tires are too skiny for the wheels.

the only way your getting more than a 20 on there is if you have VERY skinny wheels and have them set in real far. on my black car the tires clip my front bumper, the red car they dont cause its lowered and the bumper is lower than the front of the tire now.

I like your honesty! Although, I have a black friend that doesn't like the overly large wheels on cars for the reasons I'll list below. So it isn't a black thing.

What should you know about those 20's? They'll slow you down off the line, cost you more fuel to drive and make your stopping distances longer. Good side, you can fit some big rotors behind them.

 

I saw one on 22"'s but they wre only 6 inches wide.....

I would go with those 20's if that what you have to do.......All the black guys I know have welds wheels

 

I'm a black guy black guy men. Not a black guy who hangs out with nothing but white boys and acts white. No offense, but my lil bro and sis are white so don't take it personal.
