Quick question, bigger tires in rear

Is it better to get bigger tires in the rear? My main concern is handling, will bigger tires in the rear help me take corners faster?

I am trying to determine whether or not I should get a 275/40/17 front and rear or 275/40/17 front and 315/35/17 rear?

Which would be better?

No you won't be able to take corners any faster with bigger tires alone. They'll also most likely reduce off the line traction due to shorter sidewalls and somewhat increased weight. You also SHOULD have wider wheels for them too.

The only things they'll do for you is look good, cost more, and possibly rub.

Go with 275/40/17 Nitto 555RII's on all 4 corners. car will corner like it is on rails (as long as the rest of the suspension isn't sloppy).
