I'm going to put my Audi up for sale real soon and I'm planning on getting a cheap F-body to drive for a while. I'm looking for anything under $3k, as I should get maybe $2k out of my Audi. I will be paying cash. Anyway, here's what I'm looking for:

• 94-97, TA, Formula or Z28(I'd like a TA, but again, I won't be picky)
• T-56 preferred, will only consider a auto if it's been recently rebuilt or replaced, but I really want a 6 speed
• under 200k miles
• decent condition, wouldn't be embarrased to drive in other words
• mods are fine, would prefer a stock or mostly stock engine or a mild build, I need decent gas mileage
• must be running and driveable(or at least very close to it if it's cheap enough)

I'm not going to be picky about color or anything, so whatever you have let me know. Depending on how long it takes my car to sell I could be ready to buy in 2 weeks or 2 months, just not sure yet. I just want to keep my eyes open for a good, clean car if one pops up.

whats wrong w/ your audi that you're only asking $2k?

 

I'm not asking $2k for the Audi, that's how much cash I'm hoping to have after I sell it and pay off the loan. I'm selling the car for $12,500. It's not up for sale yet though, I need to clean it up real good.



Eddie, that's more than I can spend. Really $3k is the absolute max.

 

I tried... his price seems to keep dropping, just keep checking back or just offer him the $3K, it was originally $7K so who knows.

 

I've got a 95 z28 patriot red with t-tops. I've got change the 4l60e in it and I'm going to throw a new oil pump and bearings on it and put it up for sale. Its really in need of paint though. I wont be ready to sell it for a few weeks but I'm only looking for $3500 out of it.

 

gex, that might be good timing. i'm not too concerned about the paint. Let me know when you've got it ready to sell, it might just work out perfect.



And Eddie, I will keep an eye on the TA.
