specific interior poll
lets talk about the specific interior part that you hate. I am seeing alot of people dont like the interior and i was wondering if it is just a couple of things or all of it. Personally i love it all except one thing the radio and the aircondition controls built into one. i would like to have a screen with gps just a thougt. Or just a regular radio simple to use.

The only thing I absolutely hate on the coupe concept was the color.
The convertible is MUCH more attractive. I'd prefer it be a silver or something personally.
Aside from that, I'd prefer not having the lower gauges mainly because I'd rather have some storage space there.
I really don't want a big ugly screen in my car (aka- Nav unit) unless it can be built as a popup like the CTS is getting. Or, I'll just use VZ Navigator from Verizon Wireless and not have ANY ugly screen in the car.
Oh, and there MUST be at least 2 cupholders that can actually hold a large drink from Burger King/Wendy's/etc (McDonalds' 'Large' isn't that big anymore since they got rid of Super Size).

I thought of the 2 in the rear when I typed up my response. I won't mind if there's 2 for the rear seats, but it's not important to me so I didn't mention it was all.
1- I rarely have anyone in my back seats.
2- There's not exactly much room back there to enjoy your drink anyway. LOL
But if they can put them in and have them integrate nicely (ie- look good enough) then I'm all for it.

I like the seats and door panels but the gauges and steering wheel suck. I know its a retro car but i personally like a modern interior. What do most guys in their mid twenties to early thirty's do to a 69 camaro interior. New gauges custom upoltery etc. All to make the car more modern. just my opinion

The steering wheel is just about the only thing I do not care for. As for the radio, I'm sure, or at least I hope, GM will do something different with. It would be hard for aftermarket stereo enthusiasts to play with these cars if the A/C controls are built into it.

Uhh the steering wheel is the only thing I don't like much. I think they did a great job on the car tho. The color in the coupe doesn't look as good as the conv. though. So with the right color combo its going to be spot on IMHO.

You got the Yay's and Nays backwards. The yay looks like a boring sedan interior. The 4th gen interior was cool because it had a big, swooping dash, like what they've done in the nay example

Personally I think they both look nice. Long as Camaro looses that hideous orange.
I think the Camaro interior can work well with just a few tweaks.
Give a center stack that looks both interesting AND incorporates more 'normal' radio/heat/ac controls. Some cupholders are needed obviously as well as a parking/emergency brake. And, while I don't hate 'em, I'd rather see the lower guages go to make room for some storage. That's an area I tend to use for various items.
So I'd like to see an interior redesign that keeps the modern/retro look of the concepts interior, but done in a more usual way than the actual concept.
Just lose the orange and make it silver metallic!!!
