Chattanooga area dyno on Saturday...Anyone interested?

So far we have a group of seven cars confirmed. The price is $60 with wide band logging.

2002 Z28 <---My car
1997 Cobra
2002 WS6 Trans AM
2001 WS6 Trans AM
unknown foxbody
1999 Z28
and some kind of truck

Five of us will be meeting at the Baskin Robbins on the corner of East Brainerd Road and Concorde at 8 AM saturday morning (the 23rd of November). We are all going to drive in a pack together to In-Tune near Cleveland at 9 AM.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

There are a few people that have already said they want to come watch. The more the better...heh...Maybe you have some friends that would like to strap their car down?

How'd the dyno trip go? Sorry we didn't come to watch. I helped a friend of mine work on his Thunderbird.

It was pretty cool...My car ran terrible on the dyno. I had no knock retard at all on the street, but it knocked like crazy on the dyno. I ended up putting out 281rwhp and 297rwtq on the motor. 385rwhp and 551rwtq on nitrous.

A couple of others didn't show up that day...But we had a couple of others show. We ended up with...

1999 Z28
2002 Z28
2001 Ws6
1997 Cobra
some kind of truck
1996 Viper GTS
an RX7 with about 20lbs of boost

Sounds like we missed some fun. You ever figure out the reason for the knock?

The best I can come up with is no cold air on the dyno like you would have on the street. All of the LS1's knocked really bad on the dyno.

Yep...I go to Tech. You live around here?

That sucks about the knock. Who had the biggest numbers for the day? I'm guessing the Viper or the RX7...

The last pull I saw on the Viper was something close to 400rwhp and 440rwtq. I don't think the RX7 ever got a clean pull, but I did see one that said somewhere around 382rwhp and 300rwtq.

My car ended up putting out 385rwhp and 551rwtq. I don't remember what exactly the 1999 Z28 put out, but I think he had something like 381rwhp and 501rwtq.

JKDZ28, what do you drive?

I forgot you were on the hose, Chad. You guys all put out some nice numbers. I'd like to see some without the knock and I'm sure you would to.
