Heated seats I could understand. Cooled seats though... not so much.

vented seats [passive cooling] (standard) and heated seats (option) would be nice options to see.

I could see it as an option, but not standard.

My mom (she's 70) has heated seats in her Grand Cherokee. I make fun of her that she has them, although I have to admit they're cool on a luxury car. On a Camaro? Uh... why?

If it was just an option and not standard, I think it would be fine. I guess it all depends on what you want, but if it has an awesom heater, then I won't need heated seats.

Heated seats are only needed (well they're never NEEDED) on leather anyway since it's freezing in the winter (and scorching in the summer).
Cloth seats (a nice heavy fabric) are what I prefer anyway.

i don't see why they would be even an option on a Camaro. Also, just because something is an option, doesn't make it free for those who don't choose it. If GM develops and builds an unpopular option, they increase their overhead for the model and either raise prices or lose money because of it.
You may say "well only the people that choose the option will pay for the extra cost". If only 3% of Camaro buyers want heated seats, and you divide the overhead costs of developing and manufacturing the heated seats over that few units sold, you'd be charging more than anyone would pay for the option. End rant

I don't care too much about the heated seats, but vented or cooled seats would be so nice. My back gets really hot in my TA in the 80, 90 degree summer heat. Especially with the T Tops off. My mother in law's Caddy DTS has the cooled seats and they are oh so nice!! But I highly doubt they'll do it on a camaro. Heated seats I could see as an option just because its more common on cars now as an option.
