I think the Z/28 deserves an exotic intake like this...

It could be ducted to that cold air slot at the front of the Camaro's cowl hood.

That would be very cool, but judging from the web link, that puppy doesn't look like it comes at a cheap cost.

Yeah, kinda pricey. Reminds me alittle of the C5R intake though.

Here's more on it: http://autospeed.drive.com.au/cms/A_2767/article.html

Looks cool, but how would they get around the NO MAF part?

Hey, I don't know. That's above my pay grade.

But here's another cool intake: http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/pic.p...=4&carnum=1488

that would be cool. Almost like a Ferrari look and no need for engine covers... I also agree ducted to the intake opening would be a nice touch and look alot better than the bull horn airfilters they have capping the ends. This screams Z28

Yeah, this one is afew bucks. I wonder how cost prohibitive an actual factory version might be?

I don't know about emission compliance, but apparently you can run a pretty radical cam on an LSx motor and when you combine it with a "butterfly" intake like this, you get the good throttle response of a mildly cammed motor.

Dual MAPs or Speed density, maybe... or individual MAF near each filter.

Sweet intake! If I had money to throw around and I didn't have any other mods planned I'd defenetly do it!

Would look VERY unique on the 09!

Doesnt it remind you of the cross ram? Naturally aspirated. Wouldnt it be able to sustain high speeds than a supercharger and be lighter?
