mirrors

I know the Camaro has always been known for its blind spots, but GM isn't helping things on the 5th gen. Has anyone noticed how slim the outside rear view mirrors are? They have got to be close to pointless.

No worries, it is a concept car still. There is no way mirrors like that can make production.

but the look so cool! but yeah, im sure it has been changed on the production design (I know there has to be one out there).
Jason, were they really that bad when you drove it? its hard to picture some other mirror design after seeing those for so long.

They were basically useless because the field of vision was so small.

After talking with the designers and engineers at various points and getting to know them a little bit, they will not bork this car up with mirrors that look out of place. They will get it right, I am very confident of that. This car means a lot more to them than you might think.
