Which ball joint??

I am finally doing the front LS1 brakes and replacing the ball joints at the same time. Can anyone tell me what price range or which brand to use for the replacements?? I have seen upper prices range from 40 to 70. Lowers range from 15 to 40. The 95 Z28 is a toy and only races street / track so I don't need heavy duty road course stuff. OEM would probably be fine. I surfed both NAPA and AUTOZONE for the price references. Moog or other, what do y'all suggest?? Thanks.

Go with the Moog parts, some of the Autozone, Ebay parts etc. are probably imported crap.

Another vote for Moog; I got a petty good price from Summit Racing.

I'd recommend the Moog products as well. Summit, Jegs, or even Spohn directly sell them.

I think 2000GTP likes to piggyback all my posts.

Moog ball joints and bushings would be the ticket. Here's a pic of the rear LCA bushing on the front LCA @ only 75k miles. I just bought the 1LE replacement LCAs to make the downtime less when replacing the front shocks. You may want to consider the bushings as well, since they take a beating too.

Moog. If you have an O'Riley Autoparts locally, they sell Moog.

Sorry to resurrect this post, but the 1LE LCAs that you bought... those did NOT come with 1LE bushings?

Ball joint and bushings already installed...you have to buy a new castleted nut for the coarse threaded BJ though.
