What carb holley SA 670,edel 600/650 or a 650 doub
I am takeing the cc set up off of my car, I was wondering which carb I should use, a holley 670 street avenger that I can get for $200 new. and edel perf/thunder series 600 or 650. or a holley 650 double pumper. The car is not adaily driver, but I don't want to have to play with the carb all o f the time, I want to be able to get in and know the car is going to run right. Any info would be great here is what my car has now.
if you could please tell what you know how each, gas mileage, performance, and anything else.

Is that Edelbrock the AFB or Quadrajet design?

Since your sig. shows a manual trans, decent gear & some other mods., I would go with the double pumper. It will hit harder in the lower gears & be more fun to drive.
If you are trying to wring out more mileage, I would stick with the Edelbrock. The AFB style carbs are very good, but I have just had better luck (performance wise) with double pumpers, to the point of running them on every carbed vehicle I own.
If buying a new carb, consider a Demon. It has all the DP features, plus a few extras.
