front bumper has spidercracks in a few places. to remove strip, paint it all up attach new ground effect front lip prep fill license plate holes and paint that all up and blend the front 950.

 

I hope you dont do it.

For comparison I had the SS hood painted and both front fenders blended for $350 and that was at the dealership!

I also got quoted for a SS spoiler, both rear quarter panels, both lower rocker arms, painted for $700.

So $950 is REALLY high.

I agree, that sounds high. I got my front clip and mirrors quoted at 550ish.

 

I would definetly check around with alot more places

 

Blending jobs sometimes jack the price up, but not that much.

$950 is outragous. I had my front clip refinished for $425 and they did an excellent job w/ warranty. If you do find a shop that will do it for less, make sure they use flex additive when they refinish or you'll have spider cracks again. Good luck, do some research with other shops.

 

considering ordering a front clip from rockauto.com its 124 shipped for a cappa certified one. they guarantee it to be oem fit or i can ship it back for a refund. got another estimate. guy told me if i had a new bumper it would be approx 400 to paint and another 200 if it needs to be blended.

 

I Paint For A Living I Get 1500 To Do Work Like That. You Have To Remember Its Not Just Paint All Of Those Spider Cracks Havet To Go Down To Plastic And Bodyworked Plus The Whole Front End Get Blended And Cleared. If You Find It Cheaper Than This Chances Are Your Getting Junk Paint Or Acrylic Enamel. You Have To Find Out What They Use On You Car. Go By The Paint Yourself Youl Fid It Costs Around $500 To Buy Decent Paint .
