CC306 Times with STOCK HEADS...

Well i just got back from the track. Weather was around 50 degrees.
Mods to the car are: Hooker LTs, 3' ypipe, no cats, SLP 2OTL Catback, Cutout, 4.10 gears and CC306 with STOCK heads.
I was running crappy Kumhos in the back and couldnt hook at all. I was gettin sideways on 3/4 shift. I was also running a crappy program that i made...i was gettin 5+ degrees on knock on all runs, and was running pretty rich (950+ on O2s).

Race Weight 3630lbs.

60' 2.258
300 5.955
1/8 8.716
MPH 87.65
1000 11.275
1/4 13.310
MPH 112.43

Best time before the cam was 13.3 @ 107 and it was done in pretty much in the same weather.

I am very happy with the CC306 cam I know the car has atleast 2-3 MPH more in it. I should be shifting at around 6500 instead of 6200..but for some reason every time i tried to take it that high it felt like the car was hiting a brick wall! (the car would kinda shut off untill i let off the gas..i think it wasnt gettin enough air thru the hood)

Seriously...that's a damn good mph!! I'd love to see what you'll do if you hook...should be 12s easy, I would think.

I've only seen 2 cars w/ the cc306 and stock heads, you and Kreinmc. You guys both trapped 112, pretty awesome on stock heads.

There was a 93 Vette at the track with stock heads, and a 306. He had a 3600 stall and 4.30's....ran 11.4 @ 120mph. Damn good in my book!

Maybe stock ported heads, but i doubt he ran that unless he had alot of weight reduction. Then again vettes are alot lighter to begin with.
