Question Vin number - gear ratio

Can someone help me find the codes on the vin # that tells you what the gear ratio in each camaro is? I knew once upon a time....

RPO codes should tell you what the car came with stock.

Yeah, check the door. There's a code that starts with "GU" that tells you what gear is in there.

GU2 - 2.73's
GU5 - 3.23's
GU6 - 3.42's

and G80 is the code for "Limited-Slip" differential

As well, some V6 cars came with 3.08's ... that may be GU4 or something?
