Unless you have an SS you cant get one from GM. Your best bet is to find someone who is selling theres.

I don't know but I really like that. It would be worth taking my dump off just for that appearance upgrade. Provided it still flows well and sounds good. I know it's all personal preference but I prefer the center exhaust over the wide spread exhaust which is why I dumped before the axle. I'd rather no pipes than factory pipes.

It was an SLP SS option from the factory. Ebay, someone local or on a board would be your best bet since SLP doesn't sell that style. They had the 4 tailpipe setup for the general f-body public. Be prepared to pay though.
Could always get just the rear valance and fab up some center tips.

SLP at one time did sell the rear valance and tips, but since stopped. Your best bet would be ebay. but i've heard prices have been very pricy.

If you ask me, it looks like crap with the quad tips and also without the valance. You've gotta get it just like the pictures you posted for me to like it. It does look good up there though.

Are these louder/noisier than GM's typical Z28 exhaust? I test drove an '02 with this exhaust and on the highway it sounded like there was a hole in the exhaust... but I've not driven this type before and couldn't tell if that was normal or not (Carmax car, 30,000 miles, the spoiler had been poorly repainted as well as the drivers side door and they were pricing it $4000 less than an equivalent and year older SS so I opted out)

May have been an exhaust leak unless the car was equiped with an aftermarket (ie loudmouth) exhaust. Typically, the SLP dual/dual muffler is a little louder and better flowing than a stock Z28 exhaust. But, not to the point of being excessive.

Agree, the dual-dual setup is a notch noisier than stock, but not intrusive, mellow, and absolutely no drone.

If you look above at the ebay link i posted i agree the quad tips dont look near as good as the ones in the pic at the start of the post. but if you look at the quad it is very easily changed to a dual.

I got mine right before they started getting nutz with the prices on ebay and on forums. Got my valence and my tips for a total of $200. I think it really helped out my car, as I believe it to be one of the best appearence mods I've done to it.
As for finding one...good luck, ebay is your best bet. But keep an eye on all the fbody forums out there as well. Beware, some are out there to get easy money though.
