would there be a market?
Would there be a market for a supercharged model of the V6 camaro? Call it a, RS. I'd think there would be a great market for a SC V6 model. Its just something I was thinking about so I figured this would be the place to discuss it.
Re: would there be a market?
Well, its not for me. But I was thinking it could be a great way fro GM to grab a few more people, just having so many options on the table when you go to the dealership would be nice. Or a good idea would be to have GM ship a few off to SLP for upgrades on a possible "rs" model. The z28 has the SS package ofr speed and apearence, the base model should have the RS package just like back in the day.
Re: would there be a market?
I'd rather have the S/C 3.8 than a HF V6..... The only thing bad about them is they don't sound cool. I bet it would be more fun to drive because of the down low torque and the s/c whine of course.

Kind of like the turbo Trans Am, but with a supercharger? Sounds like a good idea to me... but it would probably have to be marketed as part of a specific performance package in order to sell.
Re: would there be a market?
The market would interfere with the base V8 and probably cost about the same. 2 camaros putting out 350hp, one is an SC V6 and the other a V8 and the difference in cost is negliglible. More people would rather have the V8. Possible an aftermarket SC, but not one from the dealer.
