How about MRC for Camaro?

I didn't want this to get lost in the threads so I thought it deserved a dedicated thread.

Given the great reviews the HSV GTS is getting here in Oz with MRC, Camaro should definitely be optioned with it. The track setting gives an almost magic carpet ride with performance handling.

How about it, GM?

Question Re: How about MRC for Camaro?

MRC? MAGNETIC SELECTIVE RIDE CONTROL ?

On the Vettes it is the F55 option. We ordered especially for or 06/C6 and I really enjoy it.

Re: How about MRC for Camaro?

I've read on the vette board that the F55 option is worth the money. It ought to be an option on the new Camaro!

That would mean it would probably be a $AUD 4-5K 'item' (standard equipment) on the GTS.

With MRC on an 1850kg (+4000 lb) car, the GTS's ride and handling is awesome. Comparisons are being made to some of the best Euro marques.

I gather Camaro would be lighter and more agile by virtue of its smaller dimensions... with MRC it would be almost unbeatable in its class.

With the exception of the Corvette duly noted, I don't think MRC is consistent with a "Chevrolet" product at a "Chevrolet" Price. Maybe the GTO will get it but I wouldn't hold my breath for Camaro.
