Will a 96 t-56 fit an ls1?

Will a 96 t-56 fit an ls1?

i have a lt1/t56, and i think it might be time for another upgrade...ls1 style...am im getting in way over my head on this one? will my current setup allow for just a change in motor?

I think the bellhousings are different....and something with the input shaft maybe.....I know it's not a direct bolt in thing, things will need to be changed.

Different bellhousing and slave cylinder setup. No go.

so it cant be done... period?

if i change the bellhousing and the clutch master clylinder and hydraulics...maybe?
