should i take cats off 1996 z28 lt1 . . .

is it worth it to take both cats off 1996 z28 lt1 and replace back 02 sensors with sims . please , let me know .

If you live in Dallas I wouldn't because Texas tests emissions and you'll fail w/o cats.

From a performance standpoint, the gains will not be very big at all and there will be more noise and raspiness. As mentioned above, if you have emissions laws also, then it probably wouldn't be worth the extra hassle at all.
