Wikipedia Camaro clue.....
Wikipedia Camaro clue.....
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_...oyota_Cavalier
Anybody seen this? I was looking up info on the Toyota Cavalier since my bud that has one doesn't believe Toyota had them too. Anyways, if you look at that road vehicle timeline......the Camaro is there until 2002, and returns at the end of 2008. Seems to fall in line with what everyone is saying.
I realize this is no big deal, just thought I'd share.

Re: Wikipedia Camaro clue.....
That chart is on several Chevy-related pages on Wikipedia.
It falls in line with what everyone is saying because someone who is saying it put it on Wikipedia. You do know that anyone (even you) can edit/add information to Wikipedia, right?

Re: Wikipedia Camaro clue.....
That's the whole point of wikipedia. A "wiki" is a webpage that any user can edit (that's the basic version).
In some cases, this setup causes trouble, so certain articles (like the one on George W. Bush) are moderated, so that changes get reviewed before they get published. But for most things, anyone can edit anything.
For instance, the blue Z28 shown on Wikipedia's Camaro page is mine.
I also added the information about changes made to the LS1 engine in 2001.

Re: Wikipedia Camaro clue.....
Malibu is wrong.
It's due to be redone for 2008 model year.
Going to be on the longer G6/Malibu Maxx version of Espilon next round.
The rest of the chart seems pretty accurate, leading me to believe either the info came from someone inside GM or someone who has info at NHTSA on planned vehicles. As far as I know, that's the only way you can get accurate plans far ahead (short of digging through multiple factory plans.... no easy task with that many vehicles to research).
