GM's 0% for 72 months deal...

I know this isn't the right forum for it, but I figured there's more people that come in the automotive news section that are knowledgeable that could help me out. Mods, if it needs to be moved, sorry for the post. Any way, here's my questions:?

With GM's 72 hour 0% for 72 months deal going on, I'm really tempted to pick up an '06 GTO or CTS. Just a few questions for those who might know, I can't seem to find the details.

First, can the 0% be combined with any other rebates currently being offered? Second, would I still be able to use my GM points? ANd is there a penalty for paying off the loan before the 72 months? Thanks.

I've used their 0% deal in the past...I'm assuming this is no different...You CAN use your GM points, it CANNOT be combined with any other rebate offers (it's usually 1 or the other). YES, you can pay it off early, but at 0% why would you want to?

Yeah I'm looking to pick up a new daily driver, as my current one is on the way out, and this 0% deal is very tempting. Not sure if i want to buy another car right now, and have another loan, or just stay the course. Having no monthly payments are nice.

POWERFREAK: Was the 0% you used the same "GM" wide sale, or just a 0% for a particular model?

It was a late in year clearance on leftovers. It applied to most but not all models. Most were only for 48 or 60 months depending on the car. I think they were offering $2000 back or 0% for 48 months on the Colorado I bought.

GM points count towards your down payment, so those apply no matter what (gets deducted after tax). Being that it's 0% they would love for you to pay it off early.
