Sweet setup. What's the dizzy hole and what does it do? Is really needed for a boosted car?

Re: LT1 Vortech T-Trim start up video

the opti is gone because i have the Accel Gen 7, With the Gen 7 you can install a distributor witch i did a dual sync, cam and crank Sig so i can run sequential instead of bach fire..

the MSD box is now my ing control modual

there are a few people on here that hgave done it....the look is cool

Re: LT1 Vortech T-Trim start up video

yeah yeah yeah.. me me me.. I did it too.. can you say plug wire change takes 5 minutes and ya don't even get greasy...lol and I like washing my engine now.. uh got some water in my dizzy.. wait lemme pop the cap and wipe it out.. sweet.. runs smooth... cap and rotor change...hmmmm 15 minutes.. only cause I am anal about how the wires fit the cap though.. otherwise about 5 minutes..lol

its the shiznit.. and with the DFI.. the Dual Synch dizzy is not advanced by mechanical or vacuum, it is just a way to distribute spark like the cap of the opti.. everything is 100% computer controlled and on the fly as well!

Re: LT1 Vortech T-Trim start up video

hmmm... I it would take some serious work to get the cam and crank signal to work with the ecm, nothing is impossible in matters like these, but it sure would take some work and electrical engineering to build some form of converter or to rewrite how the ecm uses the signals available from the dual synch.. could be done I am sure.. but I don't have the electrical technical know how to do it personally. maybe some of our other more versed electrrical gurus could jump in?

sorry for hijacking Jeremy.. hijack off.. wicked might start a new thread on this?
