Re: Price

If those engine options do turn out to be close to what we will really get, I just may have to try and work at a Chevy dealer.

Re: Price

Within approximately $500 of a similarly equipped Mustang.

Re: Price

GM's only hope is to price it within a few hunderd of the mustang (at least the base model).

Read post #1 and #3, that should give you a good idea.
When you first posted those price lists I admit I was a bit worried that they were too high. But I was just glancing at the top end price range for each model.

But this time I actually got out a calculator and added up the V6 with options similar to my V6 '02. It wasn't much different. Adding it up with everything I'd want in a V6 of the new model made it only $2000 to $3000 more than my '02 was.

But since I actually want the 'SS' (to use your model designation though I personally think a Z28 should be the 'mass' V8 and delete the SS name altogether and make the top model something else altogether) I went ahead and added it up with the options I'd want.

Came to just under $35,000 with every option you have listed that I could want... And since I expect the sunroof to be less than $2000, it would be even less.

What would your best guess be for the price of a GFX package?

No real clue, I doubt as an option however they will be too much more than they were in 2002 if offered.

While the smoothly curvaceous Challenger looked like it was simply reissued, though in a somewhat more modern size because of its Chrysler LX underpinnings, the Camaro concept had a more contemporary and angular appearance that looked cutting edge, and we mean that both literally and figuratively.

If they're not offered as an option I'll check to see if RKSport comes out with a kit.

It better not be a nickel more than an equivalently optioned Mustang! Right Scott?
