Some interesting comments.

I'm sure "nothing" is off the table when they are brainstorming the basics of the car...

From his comments, you'd almost expect the C7 to debut around MY 2011.

Also sounds like the C6's interior is being looked at seriously for some upgrading.

Nice. I wouldn't mind the gauge bezels being polished alum/stainless, or chrome for that matter. Only other thing that bothers me is the Center HVAC panel. The vents don't look overly sporty to me.

I agree. I think the interior can be "brightened up" as he says.

Some things I'd like to see changed: A new gauge cluster. Not that their is anything functionally wrong with it, but it's been a pet peeve of mine that it was basically a carry-over from the C5.

I'd also like to see another new steering wheel. I can't stand the idea of a corporate parts-bin steering wheel being in a Corvette... not to mention the fact that it's used in like 15 other models.... so it's not like it's only being shared with one or two other vehicles.

Maybe I need to figure out how much per month I need to pay into a seperate savings account called "C7 fund" to where it'll be at 50k by 2011?

BTW - the C6's interior was 'enough' of an upgrade over the C5 to draw off some critisism, but nowhere near enough to draw praise. I'd love to see the C7 actually become one of the more impressive vehicles interior-wise. It really shouldn't be that hard IMO - I mean the Corvette's cabin is like 1/6th the size of a Suburban and only consists of two seats - so the cost by sheer volume/size should already be a fraction of what it is for most of their larger vehicles - yet GM has done great with the new SUV interiors.
