Help! Used Ragtopp cleaner and it stained paint
Help! Used Ragtopp cleaner and it stained paint
I bought some Ragtopp brand cleaner and sealant for my top, but the night that I used it, I got stuck in a storm. The next day I noticed I had runs down the side of the paint, and on the trim around the top. Well I thought I'd just wash it the next day. It would NOT come off. Well that was a week ago. I just clayed the whole car and even a clay bar couldn't get it off. I'm starting to freak a little...if clay gets off overspray, why won't this stuff come off?
I haven't polished yet, but has this happened to anyone else?? By the way, I did not have a good experience with the Ragtopp stuff. It does not repel water and it kept foaming up when I washed it, even days later.
Any ideas on how to get the drips off??

Clay will remove materials that don't belong on the surface of the paint. However, you need to determine if you have a foreign substance on the surface, or you are missing some of the surface.

I used polish on a small area and it did remove most of it, but it's very hard to get off. It didn't warn not to get it on the paint on the bottle!
Thanks
