Come on WS6 LS1...give up so easy?
Come on WS6 LS1...give up so easy?
Coming home late the other night and a guy with a white LS1 WS6 is in front of me and I follow him for a good chunk. It was on the way home and the roads were a little damp so I expected nothing to happen.
So out of the blue he hits it about 70 mph and then I hit...I was not expecting it so I give chase and start pulling him down slowly.
Since he got the jump and I then start pulling him down, he is going to have problems with my Lightning from a even start.
So I pull up next to him and motion to slow down...slow down to 50 mph, we both hit it and I started pulling away pretty easy with him giving up after a few seconds...how lame?
Add another LS1 to my list of kills in my Lightning, even if the race was for a brief time.

Believe the L was axed for good after various tests and problems w/ the what was thought to be next generation one. Good Kill, if you running 12.6's though sounds like the LS1's you have encountered have been lightly modded.

. J/K. Hold on to that cuz those are already hard to come by atleast round here.

Try it? My LS1 makes 480+ lb ft torque. It usually traps 120mph on stret tires.
I understand the issue.
Been there done that.
