All I can say is GOOD. Its still disappointing GM didnt capitalize on its stake in Subaru and get in on the AWD tech. There are no mainstream AWD GM vehicles in Chevy/Pontiac/Buick skin. I'm talking G6, Impala, Lucurne etc.

the new g6 gtp with the 6 speed is a cool car. mate it with awd and it'd be a sweet year round, relatively quick car.

You don't NEED AWD it's something there to make you think you need it. like if you have a GF with D breasts and a guy comes in with a gf who has DDs.

Agreed, I've always thought AWD is overplayed and more complexity when it's not needed. I'm in Central Indiana so we get our fair share of snow as well. My 2wd Fwd 05' GP does just fine.

It pocketed GM 2 billion with nothing but support from Suzuki , and the partnership between the two is still maintained ....how is that not a good thing ?

The Equinox put the Chevy Tracker outa business . Now its the other way around . The Suzuki Grand Vitara is a clone of the Chevy Equinox .

The Grand Vitara is not on Theta. It's a new unibody with integrated ladder frame evolved from the previous Sidekick (Tracker). The Grand Vitara has a longitudinally-mounted engine and is rear drive or optional 4WD. Theta (Equinox, Vue, Torrent) uses a transverse-mounted engine and is front drive with optional AWD. There are certainly some styling similarities, but the Grand Vitara and Equinox do not share a platform.
