So my car is slowly coming together nicely

I just received a set of hi-polished 96-00 WS6 wheels [my favorite style] in very good condition [very few curb rash marks on the lip, but nothing major]. Now I just need to get tires for them, have them mounted and get my WS6 springs, Bilstein HD shocks, and my Hotchkis panhard bar installed as well. That'll pretty much be it for my suspension work. Then comes to go fast goodies, like some longtubes . I got a job at school now, so it shouldn't take me too long to save up the money for the LT's.

Then after that, LT4 hotcam kit and some gears

Sounds good, you'll have to take me for a ride. Would like to see the Bilstein HD's at work

Sure, as soon as the weather clears up and I can get my car to the shop to get everything installed. Also need to get new tires and get the new wheels mounted for even better handling.

I only have pics of it stock when I brought it home last year.

Nice to hear your getting everything together for a sweet handling F-body. I just installed my SLP Level II this weekend and I'm loving the way the car handles and rides, and its new more agressive stance. Should be pretty similar to the way yours soon will. Now I just have to change out my torn Front LCA bushings I found when I was installing the Level II

Sounds like you have a good plan of action. If you need anything give me a shout.

sounds nice man, install all those parts yourself and the money you save in labor will pay for the LT's.

Thats what I would do and actually what I did. The spring/shock install cost me a few hours of cleaning out my friend's dad's garage. He used to work as a mechanic, now he works for GM in Lordstown. Its nice since he has a 12ft lift and air tools in his 8 car garage The places I called quoted $400 just for the fronts since the rears are pretty easy. I'm sure it would be around $500+ for all of them. It was more of a learning experience than not being able to do it myself.

Personally I'd bring the Formula on down to my place sometime and we'll get it done for free. I can call SPD2MCH (Lou) and you could bring down jtcz28 if he wants and that should make the work be pretty easy. That puts you around $500 closer to LT's, which I'd also be willing to help install. All you'd need is to rent a spring compressor from Autozone and a size 50 torx bit. The spring compressor is $40, and you get the money back when you return it. After seeing it done, its much easier than I first thought, I'd never spend the money it costs at a shop to get it done. Let me know and we can plan a day around it.

I try to watch for you guys when I'm in the area, but we just need to arrange a meeting sometime.

Re: So my car is slowly coming together nicely

I have the TA in storage for the winter. So definitely not me or less someone stole my car and put it back together. If it was silver I have been seeing a silver WS6 around town. Looks really nice, I believe it has Y2K rims on it but they might be off do to the winter season.

Re: So my car is slowly coming together nicely

Well I was considering SLP's, amoung others, but for $139.99 the boxed UMI's seem like a killer deal. Either way I'd be glad to take a look. I love LT1 WS6's, I just want to see the car!

Re: So my car is slowly coming together nicely

I'm happy with my BMR boxed connectors

I'm also crazy about the LT1 WS6. That's why I'm trying to make my Formula look like a WS6. All I need now is the ram air hood
