How can I make my headlight on my TA stop vibrating?
I noticed that my drivers side headlight vibrates when I'm driving. It's driving me crazy. I keep seeing the headlight beam bouncing all over the road. The pass. side doesn't do this. Is there anyway I can fix this?

My driver's side light did this too. I made it a little better by putting more tension on the limiter cable that attaches to it. I did this by bending the little bracket on the end of the cable. Kinda crude, but it helps a little. I'd like to know how to make it perfect too...

, but I like my TA too much. At least I'm not the only one with this problem.

From what I have seen when doing my custom lights for my car is that there could be excessive play in the headlight motor itself, you might have some screws that have worked loose from vibration, or that little steel cable on the bottom has too much slack in it. I would start with the cable. Just be careful not to break the little clip, otherwise you might have to get yourself some little cable like that (Menards I think sells it), and open the light to the point it needs to be, then lower it just a tinnnnyyyyy little bit and wrap the screw with the cable to make a new stop for it. Actually, try checking for the loose screws, then the cable. But this is only my opinion on it.

Just a thought but couldn't it be the nylon gear in the motor?? If this is the case, then one of Brent Frankers brass gears would solve that problem.
Re: How can I make my headlight on my TA stop vibrating?
I think there is a plastic bushing that needs to be replaced "somewhere" in the raise/lower arm mechanism. I don't have any additional details on this... just going from memory in what somebody told me. So, check out all parts associated with the raise/lower arm and see if you can find a bushing somewhere... I think it is the one up on the light itself.
Good luck!
Good luck!

I had the same problem. The last response is probably what it is. Mine was missing this grommet, causing the light to bounce around on the arm. I just wrapped the end in electrical tape at the time to fill the gap. Has worked just fine for over a year now.
