Rear End Gears

I stripped my rear end gears in my 99 6'r....where can I go to get some new gears? Online? Salvage yard?

how you do that.. but yea you can get em bout any where you prob had 3.42 or 3.23 get some 3.73's now!!

you can get new ones from www.ammperformance.com or any other of the f-body manufacturers.

Some junkyards will have some f-bodies in them but a good place is threw the classifieds on this site or any other one.

I have brand new GM Motive 3.42 for $165 plus shipping. Don't buy used gears. They could have been installed incorrectly and might whine. And there would be no way to prove that you weren't the one that did them incorrectly once you install them.

Had my rear end gears whine on my 95, good thing it was still under a extended warranty....only cost me $50 ....compared that the total bill was about $1,500 at a GM dealer....
