Brian, I may be living at your house. Someone living here doesn't even like the word 'Vette. I'm running super pro this season and need a backup car that runs 11.99 or better. To be honest I'm really gona miss the ragtop. Its been a fun car.

I can't believe you ordered a C6. I sure hope you let me take it for a spin around the block.

Congrats.

How about instead of around the block down the 1/4? I signed up for the Corvette Challange at RP. If you run the 'vette do you think you can handle going 3.5 SECONDS slower than your Nova. ? Shoot 'can I run your nova...please.... You guys running at Atco this year? I'm running the teal car in pro (old heavy) for the first session at the Grove then do the RP corvette challange thing (hey I'm officially a rookie). Plan to make a few trips up to Spensor, run a few f-body, GM EFI, Pontiac things, then hit Maple for session three. I guess we'll all be racing at the Division 1 race at Maple in the fall. I really hope to see ya all before then. Almost forgot I'm meeting with Bud later this month. Back to topic, I hate to sell this car (it been a really fun car) but I love the 'vette. Ah the mid life thing.

Nice. I'd be more than happy to take her (she is a female, right ) down the 1/4 mile. And while I'd love to put you in the driver's seat of my nova, it would be near impossible... See, I'm 5'2" and you're about 7'+. My seat is mounted to the floor for my little legs. Your knees would literally be up your nose. Rick's legs cramp up when he drives it.

Anywho, I heard you're not driving down for the practice tree tournament tomorrow? What's that about??

It's basically a reaction time race. It's being held at that BBQ place on 130 next to the lighting store - starts at 10am today. They're setting up a full size practice tree with 2 buttons. You would race someone else who entered "on the tree." There are a bunch of races you can enter - bottom bulb race for $10 entry and $500 to win, and a top bulb race for the same and then $25 entry and more to win, etc... If you want to read more about it, go to GoDragRacing.com in the bracket section. You should stop by - you're close!!

Actually, Mike Kent did all the work putting the tournament together. This was the first year and I'm pretty sure he wants to make it an annual thing so you can go next year Brian (and Jim)! I didn't even make it over there...

I'm through with hi-jacking your thread Jim.

oh, maybe I was reading the wrong thing. I found something on Atco's site about it and it said Mike Nahill... either way it sounds like it would be fun. Next year...
